Converting PNGs for usability

(Windows XP / Vista)

No longer is the simple process of converting Apple's scrambled PNGs to a usable format, for Mac users only. Osvaldoasn has created a converter program for Windows users.

Step 1.

If you try to view stock graphic files in the firmware, you'll see they refuse to display.

Step 2.

Download the FixPng program here. Open the program folder. Put the png you want to convert into the png folder.

Step 3.

Double click the iPhoneFixPng.exe. At the pop up window click "Convert".

Step 4.

The pop up will now state "Flipping channels...", then you'll get the success message.





Go to the folder called "fixed" and you'll see your corrected graphic in here.
