Press / web coverage
I started receiving coverage by many tech media sites the day that several of us from the #iphone IRC channel got together and
brainstormed the step by step instructions for how to put custom ring tones onto the iPhone. This was the single most
significant modification to be done to the iPhone at that time. The traffic at my site went crazy for the next couple days after I
posted the first detailed and screen shotted instructions. I've since been interviewed by BBC Radio and the Wall Street Journal to
discuss unlocking efforts and why people wanted this to happen. It was fun to make this page and read the articles again from just
a few months back.

I was interviewed via phone by technology reporter Iain Mackenzie on September 3, 2007. The interviewed
centered around unlocking efforts and why this was important. Also discussed were Apple's and AT&T's stance on unlocking
the iPhone. I've been hoping to get a link to the article or any radio excerpts, but to date have not.
