Step 9.
Launch iTunes. You will see the "Let's get started screen". Go to the "Devices" section and click the arrow to dismount the
iPhone from iTunes. Close iTunes, don't worry about iTunes Helper this time, it only reloads after a reboot of the computer.
Step 10.
Launch iNdependence. You should be at the "Activation" tab. Click "Activate Phone".
You will again be prompted for the location of your firmware files.

and now returning to jail.
You should get the success message.
Look at your iPhone is should say it is activated. Your iPhone will now work with the SIM you put in it.
Click the "Jailbreak" tab. Click "Perform Jailbreak".
You will again be prompted for the location of your firmware files.

Step 11.
Download the modified lockdownd file here. Put this file into your
phonedmg folder.
Launch Fugu. Navigate to your phonedmg folder and the /usr/libexec folder. Your screen should look like this.
Drag and drop the lockdownd file from the left side to the right side. Confirm by clicking "Overwrite".
You can now click the "Disconnect" button in Fugu and close the Fugu program.
Step 12.
Turn off the iPhone by holding the Sleep/Wake button until the power off slider appears. Turn the iPhone back on
and test with all your SIMs. Don't forget to test YouTube and one of the mail services like Yahoo, GMail, .mac or
AOL.
Congratulations! This was not that easy to do, even with these instructions.
