iPhone firmware 1.1.2 (deprecated tutorials)

The navigation bar above contains links to everything this site has to offer. If you are new to hacking the iPhone, I highly recommend you start out with the "Start here" button. You will find most every tutorial on here has both a Macintosh OS X (intel / PPC) version, and a Windows (XP / Vista) version. I think Windows tutorials will become more scarce in the future due to lack of support from my reader base. See the information page for more on this, if you are interested.

If you don't see a tutorial you want, try clicking on the "Deprecated tutorials" button. Older tutorials should work on the new firmware. This site is a lot larger than it appears at first glance.

There is only one thing that we can't do yet on iPhones that shipped with 1.1.2 installed, and that is unlock the new 4.6 bootloader via a software program, you must currently disassemble the phone.
